Privacy Policy for MetersMate

MetersMate is designed as a private Apple-native utility for recording utility meters, readings, tariffs, tenants, reminders, and reports.

Overview

MetersMate does not require an account, does not show advertising, and is not built around third-party tracking. The app stores the records you enter, such as properties, meters, readings, rates, tariff history, tenant context, reminders, and export settings, so you can manage utility history on your Apple devices.

Effective date: May 11, 2026.

Data you enter

The app may contain property names, meter names, meter locations, utility readings, rate names, tariff amounts, tenant names, occupancy details, notes, reminder settings, and generated report data. This information is created and controlled by you.

If you include personal information in tenant fields or notes, it remains part of your app data and should be managed with the same care as any private property record.

Storage and iCloud sync

MetersMate stores data on your device. When iCloud is enabled and available, the app can sync data through your private iCloud account using Apple services. Apple controls iCloud infrastructure and account security. If iCloud is unavailable, the app can continue with local storage on the device.

Analytics, ads, and tracking

MetersMate does not display ads and does not use third-party advertising trackers. The app is intended to be a focused utility record, not a profiling or ad-targeting product.

Exports and sharing

You can export PDF reports or CSV files from the app. Once you share an exported file by email, messages, cloud storage, or another app, that copy is handled by the service you choose. Review exported files before sending them if they contain tenant, property, cost, or reading details.

Notifications

If you enable reading reminders, MetersMate may schedule local notifications on your device. You can manage notification permission in Apple system settings.

Support contact

If you email support@rnglad.com, your email address and the information you include in the message are used to respond to your request. Avoid sending sensitive meter, tenant, or property information unless it is needed for support.
